Privacy Policy
Effective: October 24, 2026
Watchweeks, including the New York Watch Week Checklist, is operated by Reed Reibstein in the United States (“we,” “us”). This policy covers our websites and related services that link to it. Contact: reed.reibstein@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as account and contact details, saved selections and preferences, notes, plans, survey answers, feedback and other submissions. Some information is stored in your browser; signed-in features also store information linked to your account on our servers.
If you use Google sign-in, including One Tap, we receive your email address, name, profile picture, account identifier and related verification information. We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate you and associate your saved information with your account. Our authentication providers process this information and manage sign-in sessions. We request basic identity information, rather than access to Gmail, contacts or calendars.
We and our providers also collect technical and usage information, including IP addresses, browser/device details, cookies and other identifiers, pages viewed, searches, interactions and error information. We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics and PostHog. Session replay tools can capture interactions and visible page content. Persistent identifiers can connect activity across visits.
How we use and share information
We use information to provide and secure the service, save and synchronize your information, respond to requests, understand interests and usage, improve features and content, and send updates you request.
We use providers for hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, communications and other features. They receive information needed for their functions. For example, search and lookup features may send queries and related submitted content to search and AI providers. Embedded services can receive connection and browser information. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.
Information may also be disclosed as reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or carry out a business transaction, subject to applicable requirements. Information you deliberately share through sharing features is available to its recipients. Linked websites and external services have their own privacy practices.
We may create, use, share or sell aggregate statistics about activity and interests within the service for research, business development and commercial insights, including to brands, organizers, sponsors and advertisers, provided those statistics do not reasonably identify individuals. This provision concerns activity within our service, not Google-provided sign-in profile data, and does not authorize disclosure of identifiable user records to advertisers.
We may introduce advertising, sponsorships and additional tools. Materially different personal-information practices will be addressed through updated disclosures and any notice, choices or consent required by law or applicable provider rules.
Storage, retention and choices
Cookies, browser storage and similar technologies support functionality, saved information and analytics. You can manage some storage through your browser settings, which may affect functionality. Signing out does not itself disable tracking or remove local copies.
We retain information as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including operational, security and legal needs. Retention varies by record and provider; logs and backups may remain after information is removed from active systems. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
You can use available in-product controls or contact reed.reibstein@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion, or to stop requested email updates. In-product deletion controls may cover only particular saved information; contact us for broader requests. Local copies may remain after cloud deletion and can be removed through browser settings. We may need to verify your identity. Your rights and applicable exceptions depend on your location. Revoking Google access does not itself delete information already stored by the service.
The service is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy and its effective date as the service changes. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent for material changes where required by law or applicable provider rules.
